Dundee to lose 1 in 50 jobs
on September 16, 2011 at 2:30 pmDundee will lose 1 in 50 of its total number of jobs as the public sector is slashed by 1500 posts. The Institute for Public Policy Research said Dundee was the Scottish city most dependent on the public sector. It argues that public sector has been filling in for insufficient private sector job creation over the last two decades.
