Internet related crime is on the increase Tayside Police has dealt with 50 cases of hi-tech or e-crime this year. While Facebook featured in more than 300 crimes that did not necessarily point to a link with the site. However cases looged as aggravated by a hi-tech or e-crime element gave an indication of where the internet or other technology was a fundamental tool.
